01Why this page exists

Sleqk is an AI stylist. Because we generate images of you and make automated styling suggestions, the EU AI Act, in particular Article 50, requires us to be clear and upfront about it. This page sets out, in plain language, how AI works inside Sleqk and what that means for you.

The short version: every image Sleqk creates is clearly marked as AI-generated, you stay in control, and your photos are never used to train models.

02What Sleqk’s AI does

AI powers three parts of the service, all aimed at styling you from pieces you already own:

• Cleaning your collection. When you photograph an item, AI removes the background and reads its colour, fabric and category so your collection is searchable.
• Try-on renders. AI generates a synthetic image of how a look might appear on you, using your own photo and your own pieces.
• Recommendations. AI reads the event and the city, then assembles looks from items in your collection. It never recommends things for you to buy.

03How we label AI content

You should always be able to tell when an image was made by AI. Every render Sleqk produces carries that signal in three ways:

• A visible label marking the image as AI-generated, shown in the app and kept when you export or share.
• EXIF metadata embedded in the file recording that it was generated by Sleqk.
• A C2PA signature, the open content-provenance standard, so the image’s origin can be verified by tools that read it.

04How a render is made

A render starts with material you provide: a photo of you and the pieces you have added to your collection. The model combines them to estimate how those pieces would look worn together, then produces an image. You choose the look, swap pieces, and re-render until it feels right.

Your photos and finished renders are stored in Europe. The generation step itself uses Google’s image model, which currently runs on a global endpoint, so that one step is processed outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.

05Limitations & accuracy

AI is powerful but not perfect, and it helps to know where the edges are:

• A render is an estimate of how a look might appear. It is not a guarantee of fit, colour, drape or how a piece will look in real life.
• Results vary with the quality of the photos you provide. Clear, well-lit pictures produce better renders.
• Because results are AI-generated, they can sometimes turn out differently from what you expect. Treat them as styling aids, not a substitute for trying clothes on.

06Human oversight & your control

Sleqk suggests; you decide. Nothing is automatic in a way you cannot see or undo.

• You choose which photos to add, which looks to render, and which to keep or delete.
• Recommendations are suggestions, not decisions made for you. You are always free to ignore them.
• No styling output produces any legal or similarly significant effect on you. It is there to help you get dressed.

07Your data is not training data

Your face and your collection are never used to train our models or anyone else’s. We process your photos only to provide the features above, to you and no one else. When you delete content or your account, it is removed. This is covered in full in our Privacy Policy.

08Report a concern

If a render looks wrong, a label is missing, or something about how the AI behaves concerns you, please tell us. We take it seriously and we read every message.
