Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your photos and your collection. GDPR-native by design, hosted in Europe, and never used to train models. Plain-language where we can be, precise where we must be.
01Who we are
Sleqk is operated by Lytis Software Private Limited, the controller of your personal data. Lytis Software Private Limited is registered in Belgium (VAT BE 0798.128.569), with its registered office at Rue de Grand-Bigard 14, 1082 Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Brussels, Belgium. In this policy, “Sleqk”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Lytis Software Private Limited.
We have written this policy in language a person can actually read. Where a term has a precise legal meaning, we keep it, but the headings are there to help you find what matters to you. For any privacy question, email us at support@sleqk.com.
02What this policy covers
This policy explains what we collect when you use Sleqk, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to the Sleqk app and website, and to the renders and recommendations we generate for you.
It does not cover third-party services you reach through Sleqk, such as Google sign-in or your app store, which have their own privacy policies.
03Information we collect
We collect only what we need to digitalize your collection and style you. That falls into a few groups:
- Account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Your photos and collection. The pictures of you and of your items that you upload, and the renders we create from them.
- Item and styling data. The colour, fabric and category tags we read from your items, the events you plan, and the looks you save.
- Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as app version, device type and crash logs, used to keep Sleqk working.
- Billing data. If you subscribe, our payment provider processes your payment. We receive confirmation and plan details, not your full card number.
04How we use your information
We use your information to run Sleqk and nothing more. Specifically, to:
- Clean and tag the items in your collection so it is searchable.
- Generate try-on renders and styling recommendations from pieces you already own.
- Manage your account, plan and credits, and provide support.
- Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix bugs.
- Meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting.
05AI processing & your photos
Sleqk uses AI to clean up your collection items, produce try-on renders, and generate styling recommendations. Your photos are processed to provide these features to you and to no one else.
- Your face and your collection are never used to train our models or anyone else’s.
- Every render is labelled as AI-generated, EXIF-tagged and C2PA-signed, in line with our transparency obligations under the EU AI Act.
- Because results are AI-generated, they may sometimes differ from what you expect; they are styling aids, not a guarantee of fit or colour.
06Legal bases we rely on
Under the GDPR, we only process your personal data when we have a legal basis to do so:
- Contract. To provide the service you signed up for, such as rendering looks and managing your account.
- Consent. To process your photos, including any image of your face, which we treat as sensitive data. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the content or your account.
- Legitimate interests. To keep Sleqk secure and reliable and to prevent abuse, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation. To keep records the law requires us to keep.
08Where your data lives
Your photos and renders are stored on European servers, and we host in the EU by design.
One processing step is an exception: try-on images are generated using Google’s image model, which is currently available only on a global endpoint rather than an EU-only one. For that step your photo is processed outside the EEA. We rely on appropriate safeguards for that transfer, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and the generated image is stored back in the EU.
09How long we keep it
We keep your content for as long as your account is active so the service works for you. When you delete an item, a render, or your whole account, it is removed from Sleqk.
- One-tap delete. Wiping your account removes your photos, items and renders, with no email and no wait.
- Backups are purged on a short, rolling cycle after deletion.
- Records we must keep by law, such as billing records, are retained for the period the law requires and then deleted.
10Your rights
Sleqk is GDPR-native, so your data rights are built in. You can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct data that is wrong or out of date.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Erase your data, including with one-tap account deletion.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
Most of this is available straight from your account settings. For anything else, email support@sleqk.com and we will respond within the timeframes the GDPR sets.
11How we protect it
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls that limit who on our team can see what, and regular review of our security practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your photos as some of the most sensitive data we hold and guard them accordingly.
13Children
Sleqk is not intended for children. You must be at least 16 years old to use it, or older if the age of digital consent in your country is higher. If we learn that we have collected data from someone below that age, we delete it.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is significant, we will let you know before it takes effect, by email or in the app. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
15Contact & complaints
Questions, access requests, or concerns about your data are always welcome. We read every message.
If you are in the EU and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Belgium, that is the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données).
